How do you feel about the impact EYC has made on your child and on the family’s daily life?
EYC completely changed our family life. We finally found a school that has a different approach and is more focused on everyone’s learning style… EYC adapted to my son and not the opposite. The flexibility has been priceless. Because my kiddos have been able to tailor their schedules to accommodate their outside jobs, they have been able to pursue both life and school and thrive. Academically, each kid is allowed to move at their own pace, so he/she/they can advance as fast or as slow as they would like. In addition to the online curriculum, kids have access to the teacher to ask questions as well as work on projects and other hands-on activities.

The structure of the day is remarkably simple and allows kids to have much needed breaks between classes. In addition to breaks, kids have 30 mins lunch when kids can eat alone or with other students.

How has your child grown since joining EYC?
Since we began at EYC, our daughter has grown. She has confidence. She is smiling and is interested in participating in activities. She is interested in learning more and willing to go that extra mile to succeed. Our daughter has not shown any signs of depression or the feeling of being lost since she started and for that, we are forever grateful.

Overall, both of my children with different but similar health issues have found a very workable balance. EYC has allowed them to socialize again by gaining the strength and balance needed for a healthy teen lifestyle. By offering my children flexibility and support, they have been able to keep up with their studies and maintain their grade point average of above 3.75 and 4.0.

What would you say to other parents considering EYC for their child?
When a child feels lost or does not feel included socially, that is hard on us as a family. We believe that since she started at EYC, she is happier than she has ever been.
